I have a Super Shrew SS Gold on the way :D and I really would love to see some pictures of the Shrew Chameleon you guys may have.
I have seen the couple of Chameleons on Ron's website, but I'd like to see some more.
I believe this will be the next bow I'll try to get. :D LOL! "hint hint anyone"
Thanks in advance for the pictures......Mike

Roger Norris just got a Scout recurve with the most gourgeous Chameleon lams I have ever seen. There are pics here somewhere...
Very Nice, Steve O.
Man, don't lay it down, you may not be able to find it. Talk about camo!
Would that be the Chameleon Brown?
I want me one of those Mike. Even with the Elk laying under it... :notworthy: :jumper:
Found another one...

Raw Hide...not trying to hijack this thread, I have a SS Gold on order as well and would like to see some shots of that bow as well. I have seen the pic's on Rons website, but you know what they say....more is always better.
Thanks
Mike, mine would work perfect for you if you could pry it from my hands. I love this bow and I am glad I stummbled across it when I did. Here are some pics for you. (it is the one on the bottom of the bow rack)

Louutah, I sent you a PM with pictures.
Rawshaft, I think they come in 56", 58", and 60".
Tim Fishell, That bow is PERFECT. I think I saw that bow for sale a couple of months ago, by Bob Barnes, but you beat me to it. That's my luck. LOL! :knothead: Want your money back! LOL!
Mike
Mike that is a very generous offer but I haven't even got to kill anything with it yet :bigsmyl: . But you are right this is the one that I bought from Bob. If I ever decide to sell I will let you know but if I were you I wouldnt hold my breath. :archer: :biglaugh:
Mike,
Yes, that is my way of saying it won't ever be for sale :p . If you are drawing 29", you don't really NEED a 60"...unless that is what you want to be consistent with your other bows. I shot that elk at a full run from about 8 feet; I will always have that bow ;) .
Tim Fishell, I'm not going to hold my breath, I wouldn't let it go either.
Steve O, when you say I don't NEED a 60" with a 29" draw, you mean the 58" is smooth out to 29" or so?
Here's some pictures of the 60" SS Gold I have coming, now I need a Chameleon to go with it and the Griffins.

Yep, that's what I'm saying. In fact I just got a 52" Classic that is smooth to 29" :D
Somebody ask for a Gold? Heres one, although not a great picture of the bow itself. I will look for a close up..

Roger,
Go to your photobucket account...click on that picture, click on edit, click on resize, and click on message board size...it will be a lot bigger :saywhat:
What would a 60"er be Smooth out to on draw?
Less than 10 months 'til my Chameleon is born!! C'mon Feb '08!!!!!!!!!
TTT. Anymore pictures of a Chameleon?
Jamie, I'm not sure what a 60" is smooth out to, but Ron recomended the 60" at my draw a good while back.
Mike
Gotta order me one.....
I will also agree that 58" will draw smooth
to 29", but string pinch is the devil in the
details. I shoot a 60" and draw 29" Super Shrews.
I have owned several 58" and always go back to the
60". I could shoot the 58" if I let off my top
finger and shoot two under.
I have a Shrew on order as well with the brown curly birch veneers...60" 54#@28". Ron told me I could go with either the 58" or 60" but that the 60" would be smoother. At a one inch diff. on each end you are really starting to split hairs in the short longbow department although many will argue that point I'm sure. I opted for the 60" because I can shoot either out of a blind or a stand,...smoothness is just more of a priority with me, (although the 58" probably draws just as smooth at my 28" draw)...AND if I want a really short bow I will have the Shrew Lil'favorite to get'R done! :bigsmyl:
Now you've gone and done it. Don't tell the wife, but the order form is coming out tomorrow ;-)
Dan
More pics???????
Where would I get limb cores like that!?! (for building with)
