Hi everyone!
At least you lookers! I noticed we all have fellow tradgangers in our own home states. And most of us do not state just where we are in them.
So today I corrected in my profile the town in which I live and work. It use to just say SW MICHIGAN.
This small amount of info, just may connect more of us together. For more shared days, shoot's and hunts!
So give it some thought and if you are not hiding. And your location people see when you post is not very specific. You may what to change that! I'm hopeing it connects me with more fellow tradgangers in my area! Lets go shooting!
:campfire:
Brent
I have my little town listed. It's so small that if you live outside a 10 mile radius of it,you've never heard of it
I agree with you Brent, excellent thread :campfire:

ASAP Ron when ya coming up. Looks like we have a Mi tradgang hunt coming up Oct 12-14th! If you have a free weekend for some fun with US! I was hoping that invite down was still good! I really would love to stalk up on ya. Stalk up cause I need the practice! For a long weekend of hunting down there! Now if we can just get you to go to your profile and change Central Virginia to Jetersville Virginia. You may just have more shooting buddy's than you relized!

Hey Tim
It was great to meet you and Rick and get a chance to shoot a few arrows with you both! We can always meet up in the Allegan State Game area and do some stumping! I'm game, lets put it together! Its right in between our homes! And if ya have a small game license, its I think 45,000 acres of FREE SHOOTING AND LOTS OF STUMPS!
See something good has aready came of this thread!!!!!!
Brent
I have a Princeton WV address but I live on a mountain top 14 miles North of Princeton 5 miles from Camp Creek and 6 Miles from Athens.

Please don't miss the orignal issue of the thread. Like (fingers from Oregon), which is great if thats all you what other tradgangers to know. But if fingers listed Bend Oregon if thats where he lived. He may just have some new shooting\\hunting buddys PM him. That live just around the corner unknown to him! And have the start of a great friendship.
Brent
And better yet a new friend with a pack string! :bigsmyl: Comes in handy around Bend!
I'm from Portland Michigan, just west of Lansing, but I work in Holland....long commute.
Updated my profile.
I'm from outside a small town in western NY called Silver Springs. Lots of open space and good people.
Small town in Northwest Wisconsin. I usually hunt in Douglas county north of there.
ponchatoula, the strawbeery capital of the country, just had our annual fest last weekend
I think one reason that people don't list more information is security. This is a very trusting site (rightly so) but internet searchs and vistors need to be given some thought. You would be amazed how people become targets.
Just out side of Roberts, Illinois.
Roberts is a very small town in Ford county. That is in the East Central part of the state.
Tim
Ragland KY. It's about 6 miles east of Monkey's Eyebrow.
It's good to see someone that is out west...Basic Instinct and Fingers! I live in Eugene, Oregon. But hopefully in few years I will be up in the mountains for good!
Chesterfield, Virginia. and Ron, i have have wondered where in central VA you lived.
I live in Covington Louisiana, hey, basic instinct I have been to Lakeview a couple of times, a really beautiful place. Went to Thunder Ranch there.
When I signed up I put my home town in. I wish everyone would.
Prarrie Dog
Zane, We will have to get together and shoot some time. My son is 14 and he would enjoy someone his age to shoot with.
Shakes, I'm only about 40 minutes west of you! In fact my son played baseball in crawfordsville yesterday. Look me up sometime and we can shoot the local range!
Always had my town listed, Cheyenne, OK. The county seat of Roger Mills County in Western Oklahoma. It's not quite the end of the world...but if you get on top of my house and look west, you can see it. :knothead:
I will put a plug in for the area. Next weekend is the Old Settlers' Reunion. You know...parades, rodeo, festivities, etc. It's a celebration every five years remembering the first settlers in the area.
Our county has less than 3,000 population; there are no stoplights in the county, no movie theater, and no franchise stores. We do have a National Park Site, "Battle of the Washita."
And the new visitors center opens this weekend.
And I assume that a lot of you like to hunt...
Hunting is the number one industry in the county, besides farming and ranching. It may even pass that.
Thousands of acres of public hunting land (Black Kettle National Grasslands.)
Whitetail, (some) Mulies, Pronghorns (just across the line in Texas), Bobwhite quail, Rio Grande turkey, waterfowl, sandhill cranes, dove, coyote, bobcat, rabbits, and feral hogs out the "you know what."
Grab a bow, and stop by sometime (even if you're on your way someplace else.)
Gene
Brent, the Allegan state game area is 144,000 acres the last I heard. We can go stumping any time. You name it and if I am availible I will be there. Talk to you soon.
Tim
Tim I though I was a digit off!!!!!! :bigsmyl: And we will do that stumping very soon, maybe when I get back from Iowa week after next.
Brent
Hi Darkegreen
I understand the security issues of course you can probably be found in the phone book if I looked for you. And most can't escape the internet searchs with your name and home town and date of birth.
By all means do not do anything you are not at ease with. This thread has already done what my wish was for. See BigRonHuntalot & atlatlzoom's replys above. Also note adeeden & shakes.
Thats what I was after, for each and everyone of us.
My listing originally in my profile SW Michigan. Did'nt do me any favors meeting Tim Fishell as he was here in SW Mi also. We just had no idea really how close we where. Looks like I have two new shooting buddys now. Because he brought along one of his shooting buddys Ranger Rick.
Let the :campfire: burn on. Lets unite.
Brent

Don't forget to update your profile if you desire, and it only has a STATE LISTED ON YOUR POSTS. When you post in the lower left corner it says From. If you don't have a city with your state. Guys in your backyard to shoot with may never find you! Or know they have a neighbor to share a day shooting with. :campfire:
Brent
I actually grew up on the banks and gorges of the New River in southern West Virginia but have lived in Shady Spring for about 23 years now which is about 10 miles north of WinterPlace Ski Resort and only minutes away from the New and Greenbrier Rivers. Moved to Mebane, NC about 21 years ago, to a quite little community about 1/4 mile off Int-40, 85. This corridor now (between Greensboro and Raleigh)is one of the fastest growing areas in the United States, but we still have deer coming into the back yard.
Grew up in Kentucky, Indiana, and Tennesee. Only hunted small game, but wow was that fun. I'll always remember hunting squirrels in Tennesee and rabbits in Kentucky and Indiana.
Brent,
Just updated my profile. Mount Pleasant is a small town in SE Iowa. I originally grew up in Oquawka IL, an even smaller town. I still hunt in IL some and have relatives and friends there.
