Why are the Dakota loimbs more popular than the Arapahos
I'd have to say it's probably a longbow thing!
I do not know, but the arapaho limbs are quicker but not as quiet. Shawn
I like em both.
i havent had dakota limbs...but my arapaho limbs are extremly fast and quiet...i dont see any limb getting any quieter than these..
I am with Golen Hawk. It is probably a longbow thing with the dakotas. I like longbows so I have dakota limbs.
I have three of Bob's Shawnee's and have always been a longbow shooter only. Until Bob had me try a set of Arapahoe limbs last year. Now I have both and it's real hard to decide which bow to grab when heading out know! I'd say for one thing the Arapahoe limbs zips arras out a good deal faster than the Dakota limbs. On the Shawnee the Arapahoes are every bit as quiet as the Dakota limbs.
Could be partially because you can order a Cheyenne from Bob for a recurve takedown as well as the Shawnee with Arapaho limbs. Where as the Shawnee is the only takedown longbow option he has available.
Depends on wether you want a recurve or a longbow. I'd bet there's as many or more Araphoe limbs out there as there are Dakota limbs.
I've had both. Like the Dakota limbs better. They are quieter, and in my opinion, they're just as smooth drawing and fast as the recurve limbs. I am splitting hairs here, though. They're both very good.
Mochasam, did you get that robinhood yet? Sure is a nice shooting bow isn't it? No luck on finding a set of Arapaho limbs yet?
Ya need to have both! I also had the Cougar limbs, all within 2#'s of each other. I didn't care for them as much as the other two.
Litte john the bow is great hope you'r having fun with the SA. Got a set of Arapahos on the way as for the robin hood it still alludes me lol. Thanks everyone for the info.
