I have had this bow for about two weeks, i have been shooting it quite a lot trying to get use to it before turkey season begins. The bow is a Bob Lee hunter 46# @28" it's 54" long i feel it will make me a good ground hunting and blind bow heck it will be a good all around bow. The one pic is a four shot group i shot at 14 paces while sitting on the ground, i have been practicing shooting from awkward positions ones that i feel i will encounter while turkey hunting. At first i was just going to hunt from a blind but then decided there will be times that making some moves will be good also.

Very nice bow, and the 54" length ought to be great for turkey hunting. I've got a new (to me), 54" Wing Thunderbird on the way that I plan on using as my turkey bow.
Oh yeah, good shooting. Gobbler Guillotine group for sure.
The older Wings are fine shooting bows.
sweet bow and your group is lookin good too. :0)Drew
Thats awesome if you plan to take a head shot I think your ready!
Just got a brainstorm James...Why don't you use that target as a decoy?...Good Looking Bow Too!
... mike ... :D ...
PS...Will you be going to the Whittingham NJ Trad Shoot April 27-29?
Man Jim...how many bows you need? LOL....kidding of course. NIce bow....nice group. I hope the birds are as active there as they are here....Good luck brother.
Man, thats a fine group. Something tell's me will be seeing a success pic from ya' sometime in May...
There's quite a few birds around here Jamie but not like they were 20 years ago but they seem to have leveled out. I like the first and last week of season. I saved some vac time for turkey hunting so i should have a blast. It's not how many bows you need it's how many you want, the person with the most bows wins :bigsmyl:
Nice shootin Stone. My Bamboo Viper long bow is 45# as well and its loves 55-60# spined cedars with straight fletches.45# is a pleasure to shoot too!
Now THAT is One Artistic and Quite Handsome Turkey Target!! And with a Group like THAT, He Shall Gobble No More!!
Cool Jim...do you plan to shoot for the head?
Only if i have to, Were i was shooting from that is all i had, if i do it will be a clean kill or a clean miss.
