Well hello everyone here comes another season to come and I need to start putting the time and start shooting and picking my stuff before hunting season. I'm thinking of trying some carbon arrows this fall. As of right now I'm on the fence between wood and carbon. I'm shooting some lodge pole pines from Ted at Raptor archery right now. Like them but they seem to crack and break after a few months of shooting. So I've been thinking of trying carbon again. Last year I shot them once in a while, but hunted with the woods. I'm thinking of Goldtips but which ones?? The bow is a BW PMA 53@28 but I draw to 29.5. The woods are full length 75-80's with 160gr pts. The carbons I used to use was the Beaman HTX 340's I used 200 gr tips on those and they seemed to fly well. So please any help?? I will be hunting deer and elk in Washington. Thanks :archer:
Try the Arrow Dynamics Trad series of shafts. Dang near fool proof set up... a little pricey, but worth the expense.
Should add that Ted at Raptor has the Arrow Dynamics.
