One from last season, Sept 15,2006.  Hope to have more pics from Turkey season and then bears in May. The chase is what really matters.

Walt... Vance called day before yesterday and he was in town to warm up. Said he'd never make fun of midwestern temperatures again... cold and humidity.

So far he's passed on some iffy shots, but no turkey on the ground yet.

We went down to Texas last week to pick up an airplane, so while there decided to get in a pig hunt with some friends down by Austwell.  Other than the mosquitos, it was great.  This boar hit the scales right at 200, and a friend got one that went 240.

but my favorite one by far, is the father son pic that follows, I helped a buddy and his son get his sons first deer.  The bow was a bear grizzly which was the very same bow his father used to get his first deer 25yrs earlier. I might add the father said his buck wasn't as big.

September 05 spot and stalk mulie

turns out he was injured by a car or something..had a broken, semi-healed leg. Glad I was able to stalk up on him and take him cleanly.

Chuck Pearson, a buddy, took this nice boar last summer

Kingwouldbe, you must be one sneaky bugger.

Cool under pressure. Best shooting is when it really counts. Hit them hard, then hit them hard again. Get a broadhead scary sharp right there in the shade with a file you got out of your pack, while your hands are still bloody!?!!

Dam fine American!
