Title: seeking typical weights for components
Post by: BobW on April 06, 2007, 09:42:00 AM
I don't have a scale so I am trying to "ball-park" my arrows regarding weight to see if I am at 10g/# draw.  I'm close with just shaft and broadhead.  Anybody have "typical" numbers for the following:

5-1/2" high-back shield cuts (each)
Signature nocks
generic aluminum inserts for carbons (like Carbon Express)

Also, if I am considering weight tubes, can someone please tell me how they are provided from the supplier.  I see it offered in 3Rivers as per dozen at different gpi, but no specified length that is sent.

any help is appreciated.

poke around here and you can find the weights of everything you're asking about. I'll start you off with the feathers:
