"When the sky is gray before the dawn
what lies in wait for the gobblers song
When the call comes back and the birds respond
what quivers slightly like a magic wand
At the moment of truth when the shaft does sing
what ends the hunt..... Shadow Wing! "

Nice poem Ron, real nice arrows I'm not sure what my new bow likes yet.
Ron,
Wow, those are truly stunning arrows. Congratulations to you and Paul on a true winner of a design.
Could the arrows be furnished with the 5-7/8" Ben Pearson design feathers like those on your Autumn Legend arrows, but in the gray and gray barred colors?
I'm gonna save my bucks and order a set of the Shadow Wings
Great design Ron. They will fly NICE out of my Lil Favorite!!
:notworthy: GORGEOUS!
Dam Ron, you are a great bowyer, great shot, and a poet, is there anything you can't do? Did i forget anything?LOL Jonesy
Boy-Howdy them are nice!!
Jonesy...You're giving me Waaaaay to much credit. :saywhat: .... :biglaugh:
I was talking to Paul Jalon the Arrow smith this morning and I ask about some arrows that I thought should be done. He explained they were in process but that it takes time to allow the clear marine spar varnish to dry between the SIX COATS that he applies over the stain....I think I said WOW!....SIX COATS?
He uses the marine varnish because that's the toughest finish he has found to date and being a marine varnish it is very water resistant. Moisture being one of the biggest enemys of wood arrows it pays if you can keep it out. In the long run it increases the longevity of the arrow.
Just a bit of information I thought I'd pass on.
When Paul makes a set of arrows, they're made to last
