What do you guys polish your bows with ?
I not long ago received my Chekmate and have noticed where my hand sits on the grip , it has a lovely lustre to it from the oils in my hand that really makes the wood look nice .The rest of the bow is flat and dull , almost looks like no finish at all ,not complaining LBR ;) Don't want it shiny , just a little more "wet look".
So what do you recommend ?
Wood Floor wax.
Paste wax.
Scratch Out by Kit comes in a yellow bottle at WalMart
Speedy metal polish, works great on paint too.
I'm kinda partial to the sheen blood puts on my bow ;)
I use Butcher's Wax just before and after hunting season. All other times. Old English Polish.
Use some grease from one of those down under boars.
Like Steve, Butcher's Wax once a year.
pure carnuba wax, nothing but the best.
Thanx Fellas :)
I usually wipe mine down after shooting with a silicone gun and reel cloth. You will be amazed at the nice sheen it will put on that riser.
