Could i get some input on the quietest feather used for hunting aplications? i use parabolics, is their other feathers that are more silent? Thanks, Jonesy
Jonesy, judging by the pics of some of the bucks you have been getting, I wouldn't worry about getting more quiet then you are now.
Jerry ,thanks IVE BEEN BLESSED WITH SOME NICE BUCKS! Jonesy
No, you are shooting the quietest now.If you have a lot of helical on them fletching them with less twist will help a little more or going to a 4" if you are useing a 5 will help a little as well. The smaller you can use is the quieter they will be.
Jonsey, I'm with JJ . I would not change a thing in my set up. Not my socks ,underwear , como , etc. I would make sure that everything was exactly the same as when you shot that monster in your avatar.
Bill
He was so old, he could'nt see or hear! lol
Deaf and blind? When you got done he had heart trouble on top of it.
L.O.L!
Mike, ya need to soak your fletching in turpentine overnight before the next morning's hunt. That'll soften 'em up a bit and make 'em even quieter. Also, when ya pick up a stranded motorist at 4 am that ran out of gas, filling up the gas can for her won't change the way ya smell too much when ya get out to your huntin' spot. You still use garbage bags to keep your boots dry when crossing creeks these days? :saywhat:
Don't listen to that James Wrenn guy, he shoots longbows and kills 'em with Tree Sharks. :D
Dave, i remember that mornging well! Miss ya man! garbage bags are great for crossing creeks and also to use for hyperventelating when you see that monster buck lol! Jonesy
I thought about that VERY THING , but I was wearing My Infamous Black Converse Chucks and didnt want to Squish the Rest of the Day!!
Just out Stumpin' and having a Great Time too. Like Squish-Shish-Squish would have mattered. hahaha  :biglaugh:
