Well...not yet. I did, however, order a new Samick Volcano; a 58", hunting recurve that looks good enough to take a spring gobbler and subsequent groundhogs here in Pennsylvania.

At just a little over $200.00 it doesn't break the budget and looks like it may shoot pretty well. I'll keep everone posted....even the Samick haters club. :goldtooth:
George, I came very close to buying one of those when I bought my Hawkeye. Please let us know how it shoots.
Good deal Ole Boy:)
George,I have an older Samick Talon Thats a shooter.
Very quite and dead in the hand.Mine was given to me by a guy who thought the bow was not "traditional" because the riser has bushings for an elevated rest.
Have fun with it.
Scott.
Fingershooter looks like we are neighbors.
George,
I'm shooting some Samick ILF limbs, and the shooting quality is great, but the attention to detail was, frankly, lacking...in the finish and the fact that one of the locator pin bushings had to be reworked to make it function...took 5 minutes, but still not impressive for quality...
Those were $200 carbon limbs...but I've heard very good things about their FITA and Olympic-style products...
I also noticed the big "made in China" sticker on my "Korean" limbs when I opened the package from Lancaster's...
I'm curious as to where they're making that volcano...
Looks pretty decent though...
Take Care,
Marc
Marc, I really don't know, but the only way to find out is take a chance. I have shot several Samicks and found them to be very good shooters. I guess there are bad and good in every company. I'll know in about a week.
