Formerly known as 'true_position' for the past 4 years ... minus 1 week. ;)
Thought I'd go with something more personal and appropriate.
Thanks for the help Rob ! These guys do a heck of a great job on this, my favorite websight of all time.

Glad to know ya, Gordy! I will miss the old handle. Reading it, "true (pause) position", always made me visualize the slow zeroing of a compass as the needle found North.
We change and move on, and so I look forward to your continuing posts. Happy trails!

Welcome aboard ??? Hmmm, I guess not, huh? :D
How about " :wavey: , Gordy" ?
Glad to know the old-me is already missed. ;)
true position is actually a term used in dimensioning and tolerancing parts. The symbol looks like a rifle cross hairs. I use it in my work, and that's where it came from.
The "Gordy" name is a much longer story and a *WAY* less glamorous tale. :D
Howdy Gordy. Now I'll be calling you that at all the 3D shoots;)
never heard of you. Have you posted before? ROTFL
Hi Gordy, glad you found your True Position on the board.
