Have known for sometime, but wanted to be sure i could make it happen on such short notice. I was drawn for the 3-Rivers hunt giveaway. This year it is a Spring bear hunt in B.C. Canada, spot and stalk. How cool is that?? I ain't never won nothing in my life. Didn't find out i had won till the last week in feb. I leave for Canada on May 8th and return on the 18th. Hope to have a good time as i've never been on a guided hunt before. Anyway just needed to tell somebody else, i'm about to bust!!  This hunt is run by a trad. hunter so i 'm hoping for good things to happen. David

Congrats David. I have wondered who had won the hunt ever since Michael had told me about it last fall. See you in Prince George May 8th. We will have fun chasing bears.

From what i understand about these drawings is if you win you have to take a cammera and take lots or pics and then when you get back you have to post all the pics and tell lots of stories about the hunt. So we will all be waiting.

Thought I might have spent enough at 3Rivers last year to have about every entry in the drawing....

WTG!!!!! make sure you take alot of pics, was just watching an episode of Jim Shockey's hunting show; they were spot and stalking HUGE bears in the cut-overs.

There's "Bears"  in them there woods.

I have seen more bear in BC than about anywhere.

HACKSAW, is 710 grains heavy nuff? Topped with a 200 grain snuffer, or 200 grain magnus I 2- blade. haven't decided yet. but total arrow weight is 710. David

 You'll have a blast!  That's beautiful country up there.  We saw several bears while moose huntin there last october.  Michael is a gentleman and runs a top notch camp.  Shoot the snuffers, after our moose were shot with em' they like the blood trails.  BC

Congratulations David !  We too are very happy for you and are looking forward to this hunt. It will be the first one for the season and should provide us with good stalks on big bears and not so many mosquitoes.

spot and stalk bears is my all time favorite hunting experience.
