shameless bragging alert! :bigsmyl:
ok, I'm feeling a little smug! A friend stopped by as I was practicing by the bales tonight. He pulled a five dollar bill out of his pocket, laughed and said, "This is yours if you can hit it." So he stuck it on the bale and we backed up about 25 paces.
"Take two steps up so you're a little closer!" says he.
Feeling a little cocky, instead I backed up two paces away pull out an old arrow. Had a great feeling in my belly about the shot. Got a smile on my face. Picked out a spot on the bill, reached my anchor and let it thwap. KaPow! Right on the bill!
My friend and I just laughed.
I'm keeping this five spot in my pocket as a little confidence booster! :biglaugh:
Hoping y'all get a confidence booster like this once in a while too!

Rabbitman, I should be getting my new Striker in June... I need the extra time to pay off that beauty!
Excellent turn out! Congrats on a money maker shot!
Looks like you just need to up the stakes on your shots!
Nice shooting! Double or nothing would have been a trip! :clapper:
A few years back - ok maybe more, some friends and I would play a game with dollar bills at the range. We would take out a dollar each and all sign all of them. At 20 yards (sorry this was with wheelie bows)we would shoot. You had to hit to stay in. After each round we would fold the bill. This was a unique trophy as you could prove who you were shooting against. I have those that I won still tucked away for ribbing in the grey and half blind years.
You know what they say: A fool and his money are soon parted!
