I replaced my arrow rest last night with the loop part of some velcro stick on. I built up the area where the deepest part in the grip is right above that a little, put two layers of velco then put the final layer on that. Now the arrow touched the rest right above that part of the grip. Shot it today, WOOOW!!!!!!! What a difference that makes, never going to use a ratty old arrow rest again.

Yes that works well getting the contact part of the shelf in the right place, Oh yeah the velcro is good and cheap.
