Got this bow from Lewis and like it alot. Really a nice shooting bow. It was his first one he made I beleive. 56#@29"-56". Shoots great and very quiet and smooth. Shot it through the chrono with my gold tips 5575 30.5" 195 and 194-194-194. No silencers on the string and like I said it was quiet. Woods look great and all in all a really nice looking bow. Lewis my brother I am very impressed! Ya done a great job :notworthy: .Thanks<>< (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v83/fishrofmen1/DSCN1672.jpg) (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v83/fishrofmen1/DSCN1674.jpg) (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v83/fishrofmen1/DSCN1673-1.jpg) (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v83/fishrofmen1/DSCN1675.jpg)
Very nice
great looking bow
I like it too!
Osage ,how are we doin? Healin up good I hope. That's my kind of bow right there bud.Good luck with her.
Thanks guys it is really a nice bow. I do have to get a side mount quiver for her. I need a little heft. I shoot longbows better with a quiver on them. And leather grip will also be added. And once I get caught up on limb bolts I will have to add them also.<><
Sweet lookin bow Frank. Nice job Lewis!
sticshooter is that dymondwood in the riser?Maybe bocote limbs?
That's the recurve riser with the longbow limbs ain't it.
Did a fine job on that bow !
It looks like it ought to "snap'em" out there !
Yes you are right flintlock
Its Madagascar rosewood riser and bocote limbs bentpole.
I am very glad you like it Frank. You got alot better speeds than I did with my little old 26" draw! LOL
The specks on the bow are rain drops.<><
YOWZA! She's awful purty.
Jeff
hey frank real nice brother.
Is that based on Gene's design? Looks like his viper riser and his longbow limbs.
hi jc
Very nice looking bow, I do like the looks of a 3pc long bow. Alan
JC, yes it is. Gene has been putting me thru the school of bow building.
This one is a slimmer viper recuve riser with his TD longbow limbs. When you put the limbs on this riser you lose 20 pounds but you gain the hybrid design. so we made heavy limbs and put them on the riser and wallah....
I made two other ones with a full viper riser that is thicker than this one for myself. Gene has taught me ALOT but there is still so much I am cluless about cause it just takes years of tinkering to be at Genes level. Its alot of fun but then again its alot of work too! LOL
Here is a link to the thread with pics of the other two I built.

I am almost done with a new set of limbs for the osage riser. They will have osage venneers. I just put them on the riser for the first time today and man all osage looks sweet!
Wolfman ya like better then that other LB ya had? :biglaugh: Well just added hushpuppys and wow she is spooky quiet.<><

All right Frank looks like you got yourself a nice 3-piece. Congrats! Looks like a great blind bow.
Galen it's a nice shooting bow. Ya still building bows?<>< :bigsmyl:
Frank, she is a keeper, looks like its got MOJO too... :) :) ...mark#78.. :wavey:
Man!! She shoots better for you than she did for me!
But that probably has more to do with the shooter than the bow! LOL
hey frank did you say you wanted to trade a bow? LOL!!!!
Nice bow Frank....Great job Lewis
Jerry
NOPE! I don't wanna trade bows Jeff LOL. Hey Jerry there are. Thanks it is a really nice shooting bow. Hows the pig shooting?<><<><
Been good Frank..had some Trad gangers come visit...still waiting on you and Shell :bigsmyl: Don't make me come over there to shoot that awesome bow  Is the white stuff still on the ground. :D
Jerry
oh you no fun frank LOL!!! you could have had a nice RER :jumper:
Ha Jeff I have my share(6) of RER bows. Waiting on two more. Kevin and Sue have been very good to me :bigsmyl: .The Bow on the top of the rack is the Resurrection bow. It was a longbow Keven made and the limb broke while tillering . I snagged the handle and Benbow made me a recurve from it. Kevin was going to throw it into the boiler but he was good enough to let me have it. The bow on the bottom is the TD longbow from Lewis' "Revive" our home longbows.<>< (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v83/fishrofmen1/DSCN1685.jpg)
got any #45 -50 longbows there LOL!!! isure like the look of those longbows they look good. where did you say you lived? :biglaugh:
jeff when did ya say you were coming to the states? I could send Bob my first RER longbow for you to shoot. 52#28"-62" that would be about45# at your draw. Then when you are done just send it back.<><
i am comming on the 28th of sept if it shoots good and is what you say it is 45#s at my 26 1/2" draw i just might keep it LOL!!! :goldtooth: :biglaugh: and i may never be done with it.
