Title: Gold Tip tuning
Post by: Fletch2 on March 26, 2007, 06:37:00 PM
Dear fellas
I have just purchased a Brandon Stahl bow.  It is 51 LBS. at 30 inches.  I have got 30.5 inch shaft. I need some advice on the best tuning tips for my arrows.

                         Thank you

Ya need to tell how long your draw is. What shaft do ya have 35/55, 55/75. If ya got the 55/75 I would say with that 30.5" shaft you will still need at least 250 grains up front for good flight if not more. The 35/55 with 150-175 should be good, but it is a little more complicated than that. Shawn

I usually like a little more than ther .5 inches over my draw length. I do think the 35/55 should work like Shawn said. try tuning with 125 gns to 175m gns points.
I shoot 35/55 draw 29 inch shaft to almost 28 and have 275 weight up front for a total weight of 540 gns. And they shoot great.
