Title: New to Me Robertson
Post by: Nakohe on March 26, 2007, 04:01:00 PM
Hey Guys, I am normally a longbow shooter, but when I saw this beauty for sale I just had to have it. 58" amo 55# @ 28". I had to try it out in between rain showers. Man does it fling an arrow. I thought I did pretty good at 20 yards not shooting a recurve in a while. It is super quiet and smooth as butter. That cocobola in the riser has to be the best looking I have ever seen, and the juniper veneers are awesome.

I have a "new to me" peregrine, great shooter.  It's hard to go wrong with Dick's bows.  I also have one of his longbows.

Wow! Another great bow. Sometimes good things come in bunches. With two new ones how do you decide which one to shoot. They are both terrific bows.

I shoot them both very well and the Robertson is the finest shooting curve I have ever shot. It will be hard to determine which one to hunt with, but the shortness of the Robertson will make it a good blind bow. The Cari-Bow will work good from a treestand. Now I will just have to figure out when I am going to shoot the Morrison I have coming.LOL I guess I could get into 3D and shoot it there.  :bigsmyl:        :biglaugh:

I had to sell my Acaidian Woods Tree Stick to make room for the Robertson, but it was worth it. The Tree Stick is a great bow, but I like my longbows 62" to 64". I just seem to shot them better at those lenghts. I know it is probably mental.LOL

Antway thanks for the comments.

Another beautiful bow Don, love those Juniper veneers. You've gotten two lately that have me looking in the gunsafe to see what I can sell.

Don, I have the exact bow with the exception that mine is vision falcon III.  Same lamination colors, cocobola and juniper veneers (56", 62#@26").  I also have the same specs in a bocote riser and laser lams.  They're great looking bows that shoot even better!  Good luck with it!
