I have looked for sheds for a long time, sometimes i find big ones, one time I have found matched sets; but this is the best to date. I found a giant shed today, right in my hunting area that has, great mass and 3 BROW tines..maybe 4 if you count the little sticker. I have never seen a shed like this one.
there is still quite a bit of snow in the bush; but now I have an idea of where the other will be!
Here are the pics. (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v611/ashstyk/bows%202/IMGP0892.jpg) (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v611/ashstyk/bows%202/IMGP0893.jpg)
(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v611/ashstyk/bows%202/IMGP0894.jpg) How is this for mass?
compared to a size 11 foot...this one is a keeper. (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v611/ashstyk/bows%202/IMGP0895.jpg) pretty knarly looking beast isn't it?
And no Frank, you are not getting this one!!!! you can drool over the pics ;) ;) :p
Obveously photoshoped.
:bigsmyl:
Sorry Cary, just feelin a little ornery this afternoon. I thought I'd give Frank a little help.
That is one massive dude. I hope you find him this fall.
Holy cow Cary, that is huge.Hopefully you see him next year, what a find and good luck on finding the match
That was in your backyard right! From that deer you have tied up out there?
Wow what a knife handle that would make
Untie him already and let him spread his genes...LOL!!!
Great pics - what a brute!!!!
Jake
I'm pretty sure that I know where the other one will be...and no, it is not tied up out back! and John, what do you mean "next year"...I want to kill him THIS season.
this is the first of many I hope to find out here, also, this one has quite a few battle scars on the antler, wonder who he was fighting????? :scared:
BD
I wished I lived near a bow only zone like Edmonton.
Some of those Ontario deer are monsters.
JDinPA,
you are right, Ontario is coming on as a real big buck spot, we have always had big deer; but now with the increase in both corn and bean production, we are getting some real big Iowa/ Alberta/Saskatchewan-class bucks. Remember last year a buck was killed illegaly near Dryden Ontario that was world record material.
Small hands and Feet?
LOL, here is another pic, actually, big hands and feet, believe it or not...it is a real big shed. (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v611/ashstyk/bows%202/IMGP0891.jpg)
I think that's the one I passed on last season. Thought I'd let him grow a bit more :D
That is a huge shed
knife handle? this antler is a prize in itself..
Looks like a great buck on the downhill slide -- lots of mass, short tines, and very flat (almost cupped) where it came off the pedicle. Sure hope the old boy makes it through the winter. And good luck to you finding the matching side!
That rack half has some beef. Looks like maybe an old receeding buck. Would like to have seen him in his hayday.
pls. forward gps coordinates. Man, I just love new friends!
You may want to scratch a little off the pedicle mix it in some tea for some good juju, He will still be a hause next year...Awesome find
That's what I like to see! Nothing like finding a big shed in the spring...except maybe finding the match. ;)
SO,WHEN WE GOING HUNTIN?
Thats what I meant Cary, this season is only 7 months away, yeeehawww
bbassi,
I would pass on the match to meet him in the fall;-)
Nice shed, good luck with the other half.
