this weekend was awesome and the whole group we were hunting with..
before I get mad emails sent to me on going on a canned hunt this hunt was not easy and annointed archer and his grandson can attest to that...
so please %o bad emails to me here in Michigan we do not have that many wild pigs (other than the ones that have escaped high fenced places) we do have them as I said but seeing one in the wild here in michigan at this time is about .02% so it is not very likely that we will not see any..
here is the pig I shot with my no name longbow (do not know who made it) 50lb @28 and 60" long.

it was a 200 yd stalk while they were feeding by some big pine trees and got within 10 yds before I shot this nice little guy
Here is the little 4 horn that annointed archers 8 year old grandson shot with his 30 lb longbow he is the happiest 8 year old out there right now I guarantee that..

and here is the huge red stag doe that annointed archer shot at 30 yds (which was the closest shot he got on it after about trying to stalk it almost 15 times and not coming close 14 times) he is very very tired now..

Where did you guys go? I was at the outdoor expo in TC today looking for hog hunts in Michigan. How was the place you went, how many acres, how much, etc...
Looks like you had fun.
pm sent to photog
Looks fun, good to see some having a good time.
Way to go guys, looks like you all had a blast.
Congrats guys. I wish I could have made it but it turned out it was a good thing I didnt plan on it. I stayed home all weekend with a sick wife. Glad to see you guys had fun and success and hopefully I can go shopping with you next year. Talk to you soon.
Tim
No worries on the canned hunt. You still have to make the shot no matter how you get on the animal. Congradulations!

Here is a nice hog I shot on the same hunt. These hogs were VARY wary and I had to crawl on my hands and knees to get in range several times. I got her quartering away, right in the lungs as she was starting to trot off. She went down within 30yds. Rob I had a super great time with you guys and we'll have to get some more Chinese food again. God bless ya! By the way the Anointed Archer made a phenominal shot on that doe. I seen it happen from 200 yds away. It was windy and he made that shot from 30+ yards. He got her perfectly behind the shoulder. :notworthy: His grandson cracked me up during dinner! He reminds me of my nephew.I can't wait to meet up with you guys again!
I used a Checkmate Hunter II 53#@28, ACE 160 grain heads, and 55/60 chundoos from Joe Skipp.

I'll say that the group that was on that hunt were great to be around. I'd like to do a mid summer hunt as well.
