Title: arrow spine
Post by: deerslayerUSA on March 16, 2007, 06:57:00 PM
I was wondering if what you guys and gals might think about these arrows? I just purchased 2 dozen legacy 2016 with 5" feathers from a guy on archerytalk. They are 28 1/2" long and I am at a 27" draw and it is at 45 lbs. So what do ya think I am going to be too stiff?

Thanks,
DS

Too stiff for a longbow, but you may get away with them using a center shot recurve.

I would think they would be too stiff either way. Hap

What Deerslayer said. Also, you can put a heavier point on them to decrease dynamic spine, say 145 grain to start. Those 2016's spine at 61#, BTW.
