I just found out my good friend John Dill and his wife Cindy are expecting their 1st child. I'm thrilled for them. It got me to thinking about my own 3 boys and how much fun we have had out doors through the years. My youngest is now 16 and the other 2 are 18 and 21. Heck I even have a 2 yr old grandson now. Must be getting old. My point that time will get away from you in a hurry. Cherish the time you get to spend with you kids, they will be grown before you know it. I thought we could share some pictures of time spent with our kids. I have tons of pictures taken before digitel cameras that I might try to scan and share. Here are a few more recent good times. thanks for looking. Don

That's a great bunch of photos, Don! No matter how good a photo is, though, it's only a fraction of a second of the whole experience. It's clear, though, that you brought a true richness to their lives. Even though they're almost ready to fly the nest, I bet they won't roost too far away.
The photo of you and the little girl playing fiddles on the floor is my favorite of the bunch. It reminds me I'd better get out the guitar when my three get home from school. Thanks! :notworthy:

I have shot a time or two with Don and William (and Bryan & Grandson Taylor Sunday) and met all three of his boys about three years back. I'm here to tell you Don and his family must have done a lot of good with all that time spent with the boys, and good examples set. All three of the boys are a pleasure to be around at the shoots. Always friendly and curteous, without even trying, and never wiseguy-ish a whit - yet they do have good sense of humors and are always ready to enjoy conversation and interacting. I'd (anyone'd) be proud to have any one of them as a son - and the grandson kept me giggling all day, Sun. He heard someone say my name once, and knew how to use it properly the rest of the day - what a hoot! Don may just very well be certifiable for a "father of the year award" sometime, and it shows in the boys actions, attitudes, and faces, all the time - NO SMOKE, JUST THE FACTS, Mame. I calls 'em as I sees 'em.
(I swear, I meet some of the best kids and young people within the traditional archery family!)
I will see what kind of Pics I can come up with, maybe put them on PhotoBucket. No Truer Words were ever spoken than; Enjoy the Time You have with Your Children, they dont stay Children very long. Kinda Tugs at the Heart Strings,"Sentimental Old Fool" that I am.
That is a true traditional family, picking more than one stringed instrument together. :clapper:
