Title: Zipper Recurve Brace Height
Post by: Tim Fishell on March 14, 2007, 11:58:00 AM
Just wondering what brace height you Zipper guys found your bows like best.  A freind of mine just bought a Zipper recurve off **** and was wondering about brace height.  It is a 62" 54#@27.5.  Any information would be great.

Thanks, Tim

Tim, Mine is a standard riser and the brace is 7 1/4 in. from the front of riser behind rest, Zipper does not measure braceheight to the deepest part of the grip, dont ask me why.

The standard should be 7 1/4" to the back of the shelf, as per Zipper.

Go to  www.ZipperBows.com (http://www.zipperbows.com)  to see the Bow Set Up section. Apparently the Brace Height depends on whther you have the standard riser or the Extreme.
