Want to thank Mark and Brent for their generous donation of a Sheepeater at the Montana Bowhunters Convention in Butte last weekend. My winning raffle system once again proved successful and my ticket was drawn from a big pile of tickets and I will soon be the proud owner of a new Sheepeater Recurve. With the dozen Whispering Wind arrows and Screaming Eagle treestand I won at the TBM banquet I'm well equipped for the upcoming season.
I was a vendor selling my Helle knives there and running my booth alone. Saturday I slipped out for a minute to grab something to eat only to find the cafe in the motel closed. Brent came to the rescue, he called his wife who was out and about in Butte and she made a special trip to get me some lunch and then Brent refused to let me pay for it. These guys are fine and generous folks. Brent next time we meet lunch is on me at the finest steak house around.
It was good to get out and socialize with yall. I'm really looking forward to getting the bow.
 Congrats.
Thats what makes Trad gangers the best!<><
That's great Chad, good for you bud :clapper:
Nice lets see pics.
Cool! Tell us more about this "winning raffle system". With my luck I could be the only entrant in a contest and still not win...
Congrats!!
Good on ya!! As they say down under
no we dont. we say way to go bro that other saying is a you know those funny people who have roos and snakes and all that sort of stuff LOL!!! :biglaugh: :biglaugh:
Man oh man don't stop I'd go to Vegas or something with that kind of luck!!!Good luck with the bow.
Lucky dog.Congrats I think the only thing I won was a low number in the lottery for the draft if any body here remembers that they are old like me.Kip
You lucky son of a bow......that is one sharp looiking recurve. If I was in the market for a glass bow, I'd give Mark a call and order one of those bad boys
Congrats :clapper:
Man you sure are lucky , good luck with it :0)
Congrats and enjoy it.
Thanks guys,
Yup, I'm a lucky guy. Lucky in love, life and most everything.
THat is the 4th bow I have won in the last few years. I won a recurve and a longbow at other MBA banquets and a longbow at the first PBS Odd Year Gathering.
If I could just figure out how to transfer that luck to draw an AZ elk permit or MT sheep, goat or moose permit.
I am going to call Brent tomorrow and get it on order.
He won't reveal his "system", I tried in vain. But I'm glad Chad won the bow, could'nt of happened to a better guy, who gives a lot of time (and product) himself to such fine causes.
We'll make you a good'n, Chad!
Maybe his system is similar to the guy who lived in the closets system in the movie Real Genius. You will out x number of entries to win y% of the prizes. Wish I had time for that.
I have looked at those bows on the web and they sure are neat looking.
