Hello fello members, would any of you know where I can get some nock inserts for some microflite shafts I just came into possession of this week? I have two sizes, # 7 and # 9 .Also, since it has been about forty years or more since I last made up some arrows from these bare shafts I've forgotten what type of glue to use in gluing the point addapters and the nock tapers.I think we used a yellow colored epoxy of some sort. Is there one of todays glues that's as good or perhaps better than the glue we used in years past? Along the same lines, can these inserts be removed after gluing to accomidate the old style glue in target point?

Greyfox, For the number 9`s look at uni-bushings for xx78 and 75 shafts, I put some in some 12`s I had and they worked great, try different sizes to see if any fit. Take them to a local shop and see if they have any you can try...

I used some 5 minute epoxy on the tips and nocks of my fiberglass arrows tried to use some gorilla glue but it expanded and split the shaft..
I brought mine to a archery shop and they just went thru there aluminum arrow inserts and nocking point inserts and they found some that fit well and have been working fine for the last year (other than the ones I shot into stumps and or missed targets the tip likes to jam into the arrow)
