I'm gluing up 125 grain Grizzly broadheads and 125 steel broadhead adapters. My 2-ton epoxy with 2 hour dry time doesn't seem to be working. Any suggestions for a glue that would work?
Thanks
Did you burn off the oil first? If not degrease both the adapters and the inside of the broadhead
and use hot melt ferl-tite sp??.
I use hot melt ferrel tite and not had one slip off yet
when you want to put the bleeders in all you have to do is heat them up with a flame and push them through the glue also its about the best way if you use them!!!!
I used alcohol to clean the adapter and inside the ferrule. Guess I'll go back to the bench and get some hot melt and a burner...
I generally use Ferrule Tite, Power Bond works great also though. Not sure why your epoxy isn't working to be honest, although I've not tried it on steel adapters I've had great luck with it on aluminum as well as insert/outserts in the past.
I use hot melt and have experienced no problems so far.
I use ferrule tight ,but my buddy uses jb weld and has had good results with it
Clean with alcohol and a q-tip, and then use JB Weld.
I use JB weld also. But it's permanent.
JB Weld
