Title: Onestringers awsome wraps!
Post by: Lewis Brookshire III on March 09, 2007, 08:07:00 PM
I ordered a couple a dozen arrow wraps from onestringer and just wanted to say they are great! I just got around to fletching some arrows up with them. Here is a pic of the original picture I sent him of someones crested wood arrows that I wanted to be copied in wrap form

And here is the arrows that I put the wraps on. I just need to get some red nocks to compete it.

After reading some of the posts on here about footing a carbon I also tried that. I didnt have any allums but I did have a broken MJ Log fiberglass arrow that fit perfectly on my Beman MFX. I cut a piece 2 inches long and glued it to the tip and then put a coat of CA glue over the top of them.

I like 'em!
I understand the theory of footing, just haven't had any trouble, yet.
Do you draw your foo onto the shelf ?
Maybe black or white nocks?

I have never had a problem without footed shafts either but I thought I would try it out. LOL

I think the footings will draw up on the shaft but I havent shot them yet to make sure.

How long are the wraps? Is it easy to put them on so that they line up at the top and bottom?
What size glue-In, glue-On broadhead adapters did you use for the MJ Log footings, and where did you find them?
Black nocks for shure! Those arrows look awesome.

Chuck, I had one broken MJ log from the batch I gave you and I just cut it up into 2" sections and it sliped right over my Beman MFX carbons perfectly. I didnt use a adaptor you just slide them right to the edge of the arrow that you are footing.

The wraps are 10" long. I wanted them longer than the typical 7" I have used in the past. I got two dozen of them so If you want some to try let me know and I can meet up with you and give you a half dozen. They are really easy to put on too.

Hey Ga.boy. we do those wraps any size you want them...0.875 x 4 all the way up to 1.5 x 10 so far.  All of those sizes are only $8 per dozen.

Can't beat it

Mindy

Oh, and thank you very much...I try hard.

I can vouch for the wraps as well. I just E-Mailed Mindy as to what I wanted on them and the color and style from one of her examples from this site and was very, very happy when I recieved them. Just what I wanted and not even a week later I had them. I ordered 1"x9" and they fit perfect on a 2016 shaft. Highly reccomend this product, you won't be sorry....Lloyd
