Title: Bison gear
Post by: ranger 3 on March 08, 2007, 06:01:00 PM
I saw a bag that was camo and had Bison gear on it. I sure would like to have one, if anyone knows where I can get one.

Bison Gear makes a great pack.  Here is a link to Angelo's website.  I have the First Trip Explorer and use it on every hunt.

There will be quite a few at TX Sweat.  I love mine....had it 3 years, hunted hard with it, and it still looks new.

I have a Bison Gear Lost River pack made out of wool from Gray Wolf Woolen (see sponsors list). These are made by Bison Gear for Gray Wolf and sold through Gray Wolf. It's a superb pack!!!

As far as an opinion on Bison Gear products. There's a couple of items that I will recommend without reservation as top of the heap quality and value:

Bison Gear Packs
Super Shrew Bows
Gray Wolf Woolen clothes
Black Forrest Blade Knives

I have a Bison (Gray Wolf) Lost River, same as Ray and when it comes to out west, all day hunts, I personally won't wear anythng else.  Whoever designed it must have read my mind cause I don't think I could improve on any of it. Well, maybe I could make it a tad lighter.   Course, other folks like other things, so you gotta try it out for yourself.  I think the quality is second to none.  It works well for me.  and I feel good when I wear it.  Perfect combo !

I love the NEW Bison Gear elk hunter pack. I use it as a hunting day-pack and is big enough for video camera gear.

Bison gear isn't cheap but the quality and practicality of the designs are unsurpassed. I have a pack that I like and since my days afield have been limited it has been holding up and serving me well..... but one day Angelo is going to get some of my money. He is a super nice guy.

Ranger,  there is a sponsor list in the green box right below the Bob Lee add at the top.  Click on the drop down list and find Bison Gear and go to that.  Great quality product.  Hmm,  now that I think about it I loaned it to a friend in Montana last year for his elk hunt and still havent got it back!!!  Better give him a call.

really bad back forces me to look for another way of carrying my gear-this is it.  puts all the weight on the hips and the straps are for balance.  LOVE it
also helps tha tAngelo is first rate to deal with.  Check out his new materials too
