Title: Grozer Horsebow
Post by: huntsmanlance on March 08, 2007, 05:22:00 PM
I have been looking around for a horsebow, i have heard great things about the Saluki and Spitfire but not anything about the Grozer's. They are allot cheaper in price which of course makes me wonder how good they are....

How are they to shoot? How smooth? and how fast? and has anyone actually shot the Saluki's or Spitfire's in comparison?

Thanks!
Lance

I've shot a few Grozer bows. Honestly I thought they were awful! Terrific handshock (far, far worse than any ELB I've shot & they really kick!)

The weight stated is only very vague, at best. I tried a 55# (indicated) bow & nearly tied myself in a knot. On thescale it came in at 68#!!!

The craftsmanship is nothing special either. Both syhas were very roughly finished on all the bows I tried. You can tell they've been made to a budget, not a standard. I had really high hopes for these bows, but was sorely dissappointed  :(

Speed wise, the 53# (42# indicated) that i tried didn't seem to be a patch on my Hybrid. Very sluggish indeed...

Aw c'mon guys maybe you weren't doing it right-aren't those the bows the History Channel says shoot 300 fps?
