I'm kinda in the market for a (hybrid type) longbow, like a Tomahawk, Shrew, Griffin, RER Vortex, and now looking at the Robertson Fusion.
I done a search, but couldn't find hardly any information on this Robertson Fusion bow.
Anybody have any opinions of this bow? Pictures? The good and the bad.
I like the looks of the grip, looks like the same riser as the Peregrine recurve.
I was looking at the stock bows, to do a test drive, but I have about a 30" draw and all I see in stock is a 58" Fusion. I'm thinking a 62" is prolly the shortest I would need to go with this bow.
Thanks in advance for any opinions of this bow  >>--->Mike
Rawhide, They are great shootin bows I got a Vision Fusion, 62" #60 @ 29". They are the same riser as the Peregrine recurve, cut to center, nice grip.

I don't have one yet, I have only shot them out at Dick's shop but like Westbrook said, just like shooting a Peregrine. Planning on getting one though. You should be able to go as short as 60" with your draw. I was shooting a 58" one with a 29" draw. Joseph
Have you looked at a Kaibab 2 hybrid longbow that Chaparral Archery builds? I also have a 30" drawlength and I'm probably going to order this bow for myself in a 64" length.

My old Bocote riser, Bocote veneer Fusion is coming home next week. I made a big mistake and sold it a while back. It came up for sale and I was able to bring it home. I am really looking forward to it. I didn't have them put a leather grip on it originally, but I will get this done now.

WESTBROOK, that's a great looking bow.
Dave Pagel, if you make a mistake and decide to sell it again, let me know. :D
Thanks for the replies. I guess not too many people here has or shot one. I'll prolly call next week and see when a 60" or 62" stock bow may come up to try out.
Thanks, Mike
Night Wing,Chaparral Archery is not making bows anymore.I read that awhile back around a month or more back.
Raw Hide, returned you PM.

JRY309,
I know Chaparral went out of business. Bruce emailed me telling me he was no longer making bows and my order for his Kaibab got cancelled. I've since switched gears and am now "SERIOUSLY" looking at the Belcher/Massie "Longhorn" hybrid longbow. I'll be ordering a 66" Longhorn. I'm about $110 short for the Elite class of Longhorn right now, but I should make about $100 in tip money this weekend. Here's what it looks like.
