Title: Not a bad morning practice
Post by: rxhntr on March 02, 2007, 07:21:00 PM
this morning I went to the range and did a little practice session before work. I was a little rusty and 20 yds, then everything clicked. I moved to 30 yds and slapped out a pretty good group. feeling confident, I moved to 40 yds. This group I had to take a picture of. I dont know why, but every shot felt really good and this was the result.

Now, I dont want to sound all full of myself, but I had to share this with someone especially since my day started off this good and quickly went bad when I got to work. I hope someone else can appreciate this group, I know it hasnt happened to me all that often.

I shoot a bow made by Mike Rash, it is 52# at 29in and the arrows are legacy 2216.

Good shooting, you should have pulled the low arrow, no one would have know the difference.

That's a good group with a sighted compound, let alone Traditional at 40 yards.  Congrats...

That's fantastic. I think I would have to quite for the day after that! Heck that would be a good group at 40 yds. When did you shoot the one that is the farthest out? Bad release? Last arrow shot?
