Title: Is black cheery ok for glass bow lams?

I have plenty of cherry and would appreciate anyone who might know if it makes good material for glass lambows.How is it for compression and tension? thanks Frank

I've made several Bows from Cherry. They all turned out to be great shooters.

Anything is good under glass, main thing is picka pretty wood if its clear glass, which cherry is.

Cherry makes a good core.21st Century uses a lot of cherry in there bow limbs.
