Hi All,
Last Monday I finished this set of 1st quality footed pinewood arrows. They are 11/32" with a 125 gr. field point. The fletching is 5" shield LW helical.
I'm gonna use these only for 3-d or field shoots where only wooden arrows are allowed.

Very,very nice arrows!!
Nice, those have become my favorite nocks.Theyll be attention getters.
Beautiful arrows. Well done.
Can I ask what/how you footed these shafts with. Was it done so that you could use screw in points. Any help would be appreciated. tom
Hi Tukudu,
I have a guy in the Netherlands who sells these footed shafts ready to work with. The shafts of my arrows have oak as footed area but he uses different kind of hard woods.
I used a TOPHAT Field 3D steel screw on. See picture.
I do not have experience with screw in points for footed shafts but I can imagine that it weakens the footed area. I guess you need some kind of re-enforcement, like a metal bushing around the end of the shaft when using screw-in points.

V-archer,
Thanks for the close up and the response. What type of knocks do you use? Sorry to ask so many questions but I have a renewed interest in wood arrows, I think I am re-cyclying back in time. At my age why not. tom
Tukudu,
The nocks are Arizona type. I like them because they are "cylindrical" matching the shaft diameter.
purty purty purty!!!!
