Title: Shooting high.

I'm shooting high with my longbow. Will lowering the nock point lower the arrow's point of impact?

No, it will change the flight characteristics of the arrow, probably in a bad way.

Decrease the gap!

At full draw move the tip of the arrow lower on the target. This will increase the gap from the tip of the arrow to the center of your aim point thereby lowering your point of impact.  Or in other words just aim lower.
