Well i got the call that my new bow was done so i ran over to pick it up. I'm still waiting for my longbow limbs but they should be done soon. This bow is 62" 50#@29" kingwood and zebra riser with bamboo limbs with kingwood veneers. I haven't gotten a chance to shoot it but i love the way it feels and i'm sure it's gonna shoot just fine! A little bit of glare from the flash but you can see them.

Helluvabow!! Don't leave it in the car at night!! ;)
Helluvabow!! Don't leave it in the car at night!! ;)
Man if that ain't a looker. I'll have to get my hands on that one at Cloverdale.
Nice bow little buddy. Your collection just keeps growing. :jumper:
Beauty...loooove that zebrawood. How bout some full length shots so we can see the strung and unstrung profiles. You should know better than to post shots of the goodies without the centerfold :saywhat:
I've been looking these bows over, but not in person. I believe the next bow I order new or get second hand is gonna be a zipper. Would love to try one out. Awesome looking!!
Chad slap some antler bolts on there and you got it aced out.
oooohhhhh thats nice!!! I'd love the chance to meet up with all you and shoot some of your high dollar bows!
thats a beauty
Very nice! Of course, I'm gonna have to do a safety inspection on it...so, I'll just send you my "goverment" address and you can send it on its way. How long? Inspections only take about 3 or 4 years..sometimes loooonger. So, you'll just have to be patient till it returns your way. Remember, safety is everyones concern and I'm here to help YOU! David
Just an excellent looking bow. :goldtooth:
Man that's just plain gorgeous! I love the contrast of the two woods and the purplish hues in the kingwood veneers! I just sold an all Kingwood Zipper , but the veneers don't look anything like that. Bob told me that he took the venners from the same piece of wood that he made the riser from, which is gorgeous, but he said for some reason when he cut the veneers thay just didn't look the same as the rest of the bow.
Yours turned out fantastic! Well done! :clapper:
Wow what a bow.I got a feeling theyre really gonna blow up onto the scene and be much better known as a brand.I cant believe theyre not already.Sweet bow Chad, destined to become a classic .Deerslayer, I came darn close to buying yours, I would of by now if it hadnt been bought already but Im holding out for just the right longbow.I even tried to get a few friends to buy it.
Chad, thats just to durn purty to haul around in the woods. Talked to Bill yesterday. He didn't call me but his answering machine did.
Wow- I am very picky about looks and that is definitely a looker.
BD
That's really nice. Beautiful wood combo.
Chad, very nice. I almost bought one last week, but was a little late. Best of Luck with her! Shawn
Thanks guys! I got a chance to put a few arrows through her today. This bow is 5 pounds lighter than my other extreme and i didn't start noticing any considerable arrow drop until i got past 30 yards. I do think that these 62" limbs are alot smoother than my 60".
Joe, I tried to get some full length shots but i took those pics last night on the conference room table at work! I'll try to get some good pics in the morning.
Curt, I doubt that i hunt with this bow much, but i'll see if i can get a turkey to pose with my other extreme! :D
BTW David, I'll send it right out. You just go wait by the mailbox. :knothead:
Joe here are some more pics for ya! Sorry i forgot the unstrung pic. Here is also my best group i shot with this bow. 3 arrows, 1 each shot at 15,20,25 yards = 2 split nocks! :D

Again....A great looking bow bud,and that's some good shootin'!!
A bow that looks that good and also shoots that good is awesome! Congrats!
Good shootin bud! Does it have a different feel than the recurve (I've shot one of those)? Does the string touch the limb in more than one spot? It looks like it does...around here you wouldn't be able to shoot it in the longbow category.
But dang it's purdy!
Those are recurve limbs on it in the pic, aren't they?
Those are recurve...the LB's are LB's...you can see a profile shot on their website under the 'In Stock Bows' page...I have a set, as well as a couple recurves...Zipper might be the most 'under the radar' bow going.
OOOOOOH, duh! I thought Chad got this as a new longbow...I thought extreme was just his riser designation for the straighter, less deflexed riser. Thought they looked awfully curved for a longbow limb.
So how many zipper recurves do you have now chad? :saywhat: ;)
That was his one from last week ;)
Although....glass houses, and all... :D
Wow, what a bow!
Heh Heh....50# @ 29". What a coincidence...that's what I shoot.
Just in case mommy says you gotta git rid of it!!!
Chad,
You are really making it tough on the rest of us zipper fans by flashing all these new bows at us!
I have to say that bow looks flawless. I can see that Bill has got it going on now.
I really like the while micarta stripes it makes the flare really stand out.
Can you tell any difference at 50# compared to your other zipper?
Chris
Joe, This is the curve limbs on an extreme riser. The matching longbow limbs for this one aren't finished yet! I think i have 4 zippers now but its getting hard to keep track. :D
Steve, This one ain't going anywhere, but i will let ya shoot it anytime ya want.
Chris, That ain't micarta. The stripes are unstained maple and wenge. This bow is a little smooter at my 29"+ draw than the 60" is. This one is 5 pounds lighter than my other extreme. I really don't notice any extra arrow drop until i get past 30 yards. I do notice the drop getting worse around 50-60 yards but that will come right back as i shoot it more.
Joe, Here is what the zipper longbow limbs look like.

if you are ready to get rid of the other shorter heavier extreme or even just the riser...e-mail me... :) very nice bow.
Bob
Bob, I think i need to buy more, not sell any. I will keep you in mind if i decide to get rid of it.
I guess I speak for everyone when I say Zippers have to be the ugliest bows every! Ya, right that is sweet!!!!
