Here is my Massie Reverse handle longbow with new string from Bobby Graham JR. One of our own Tradgangers. Bobby made me two strings 65" B50, 14 strand, Brown/Yellow, both served with .018 trad serving.
The colors look real sweet with the dark chocolate color of the bow. A big Trad thanks to you Bobby AKA (bgram) :clapper:

Looks Great!!!!!
I've always liked those reverse handle longbows,I almost ordered one from Jeff. :banghead:
 Nice!
Nice looking bow to bad the shelfs on the wrong side (HaHa). Are you hunting with it this season
Art: I am hunting deer with my Kohannah longbow in my avatar. I will be using the Massie to hunt Elk in the late season. It pulls a little heavier than the kohannah and I want to make sure of good penetration if I connect on my first Elk.
Good luck to you if you are hunting this season. Hope you connect. Stay safe and straight shooting.
I have one just like it accept in a grey action wood handle, almost all my bows pull around 50@29, the massie pulls 59@29 and its so smooth you can barely tell the difference, only problem is I cant find any arrows that fly good out of it, what are you shooting out of yours?
Ian, I am shooting Arrow Dynamic Tradlites tipped with 150 grain Magnus Snuffers/Field tips. They fly straight and sweet. I pretty much shoot these same arrows through all of my bows as none of them pull more than 59lbs. Hope this helps.
By the way, I used to live in Slidell. I have a daughter that lives south of Baton Rouge in a place called Holden, LA. Are you familiar with it? I've been to the Ponchatoula Strawberry Festival a few times.
yes, I am, I live 30 minutes east of baton rouge, never heard much about tradlites, are they carbon?, what is your experiance with them so far
They are carbon and IMHO the best on the market. 'Course I have not shot all the different brands but, of all the arrows I've shot, these are the tops. As I said, I shoot this same arrow out of all my bows and don't have to change anything. Don't have to worry about different spine, broad head weight, etc. etc. I just grab these arrows and no matter what bow I'm shooting, (I have 8), they fly true. Terry and Texas Bubba were a big help in me deciding on these arrows. Good luck!

Looks great! That'll really blend in well if you hunt with it. How's she shoot?
Curveman, she's a hard hitter and shoots smooth and straight. I'm actually really taking a liking to this bow. I've had it for a few years and only just now got a new string for it. Wish I had done it before! I am hoping to break her in on my first ever elk. Then I can christen her with an appropriate name. :bigsmyl:
