that's a dandy looking cabin, but you're missing the prerequisite hound dog chained to the car with no tires. LOL sorry, couldn't resist. I have family in WV and it's a standing joke. :)
VERY NICE, Looks like 5 could comfortably stay for a week of hunting. I used to hunt some in Upshur County WV.
Wow, ya gotta like that! Nice cabin.
Jersey to West Virginia connection very nice I like that metal standing seam roof on the new addition. So when we leaving Jersey?
Yeah Ron, you hit it on the nose , 5 guys is about the max. It's my little piece of heaven. I bought the place in 1989 and although it don't look like much it's super comfy. I love it!!
that is cool how the siding has weathered like that...looks very rustic
Best thing about it is the property taxes. When I first bought the place they were $1.98 per year! That's right, one dollar ninety eight cents! Since then they've skyrocketed to $36.50!!!
*SIGH* City Living Just SUCKS!! Looks to be a Fine Cabin Too!! CONGRATS!! :clapper: :clapper: :clapper:
Great Cabin!
What county in West Virginia is the cabin in?
JD, the cabin is in Randolph County about 20 miles south of Elkins
More Jersey city slickers buying up our state! LOL..... Just kidding. That area is beautiful. I get up there regularly with work. Do you have much property or just a small piece with the cabin? A lot of people buy lots up in that area and put camps on them since there is so much National Forest to hunt. Some good trout fishing up there too. Looks great. Enjoy.

ALW, I've got two acres, surrounded by the Monongahela National Forest. The cabin is in a pocket of the national forest---GOOD HUNTING, have shot deer and turkey within shouting distance from the cabin. We only go down in bowseason and muzzleloader season to hunt, I don't rifle hunt.
Yes ,you're right, the trout fishing is good. I will be down after Easter trying my luck.
How many acres do you have arraflinger? That's only a dream for many of us. great foresight to buy it that long ago.
