Being that everyone is getting PSYCHED about the up coming turkey season. How bout some of our Trad Gangers showing us their turkeys from past seasons. I know the Ferret ,Guru and many many others are turkey wackin machines.Wouldn't it be great for some of the newer members to see what is possible as far as turkey hunting with Trad Equiptment. Thanks guys.
Here's one of mine from last season.
42 lb. Groves
Microflight arrows
Hilbre heads

First Turkey fall 2006
Heres last Spring. First Trad Turk. :bigsmyl:
Morrison Shawnee Arapahpo, WW heads.
I'm hoping to have a nice little 48" Static Recurve (Sheepeater Spirit) from Mark Baker and Brent Rudolph to chase them with this year. I always shoot a ton of stumps while out locating birds and a neat new bow to haul along will add a little something special. I'm gettin pumped!!

Yep Ferret, the week before opening day 2006 our area in Nebraska had 19 inches of snow in a freak storm.... It actually made the hunting easier.... The birds were feeding wherever the cows had dug through the snow or where the sun and wind had removed the snow on the hill tops..... It was 5 degrees opening morning and 15 the next morning when I shot this bird.... called his lady friends in (one of them had a beard)with him and another long beard in tow.... The other photo(2005)is from the same area, same week, with temps in the 50-60's.....
Ya never know!...
HOPEfully me and a certain bow will be adding to this thread come April...
