An old friend of mine used to make knives and broadheads under the Calmont Archery. I have lost my heads and contact with him. His heads were stainless and wicked looking. Killed my first hog with one back in the mid eighties. I'm looking to buy some of these old heads if anyone has them. They were mainly sold in the south, Mississippi through SC. thanks Joey
I have 2 of the newer Super 2 heads that were made by Sports blades.
Any help?
Thanks Ron but I'm not sure. Do you have a picture. I know he sold his knife patent to skinmaster ? or something..maybe Sports Blade bought his BH..any pic would greatly help me. thanks
On the left is the Super 2 Magnum 125gr and in the middle is the Super 2 Standard 100gr, both by Calmont about 1984. Both have aluminum ferrules
On the right is the Super 2 Standard 125gr by Sports Blades about 1990. This is a steel ferrule
I have 2 of the 1990 version. `

Thats IT!.. I emailed you ,Ron thanks
Those look really cool, can you still get those any where?
I have shot the big one on the left. No noise and perfect flight. The blades are stainless. Because of the extreme width and small ferrules, the edge grind is shallow making for a super sharp blade. The only problem is that they are a two blade-if I had enough of them I would slot them for a bleeders blade.
The address and phone number I have from the company is no longer valid. So I guess it is another broadhead that was ahead of it's time.
