I made my first woven quiver bout a month ago. I have since gone on to make others and I am thinking about trying to sell them ...just for some extra money, since I'm unemployed:irked:
All are hand woven and stained with all natural materials. The quivers take about two-three days (with consistant work) to build. The one below is around 90% complete. I will offer a few different finsihing features such as conchos, fur, beads etc and two styles of carring strap.
I would like your opinions on what you would (A) either expect to pay or (B) would pay for a hand built cane/reed quiver.
Thanks and please be honest.

Very nice Dave, good luck
That's nice work, Dave. I think I'd start by checking places like 3Rivers and Kustom King, and a few other vendors who carry woven quivers, and go from there.
Thanks guys...
Hmm didn't even think bout checkin venders..good idea.
I'd **** a few to see what someone might be willing to pay. Put a buy it now price on it for what you'd like to get out of it and then a reserve price for what the absolute lowest price you'll take is. That way you don't lose what time & materials you've invested.
If you haven't sold on **** before I'd be happy to help, just PM me.
Shane
Okay apparently you can't use E*b*a*y on here for some reason. Guess I better check the rules??
how heavy is it??? nice work...mark
i'll give u ten bucks if u make me one?!???
That is beautiful work. I called my wife over to look at the picture and she was blown away.
What they are truly worth and what you can get for one is not the same .
15 bucks!!
Thank you all for the kind words; I think I am gonna try the **** route to test water. I few friends mentioned building a few and then goin to some local shoots.
I have alot of good ideas pretaining to theses quivers I make; none of which any store bought quivers have. So hopefully folks will take a liking to them.
I know I can get 15 bucks from buck-tamer...hehehe
How about putting one up for the St. Judes auction this year. That would give you the upper-end of what folks would pay and also give you some great exposure. Not to mention what it will do for the kids!...
Nice quiver. Wishing you the best of luck....Terry
IIRC 3Rivers gets around $75 for one. I'd say as you build more of them it will take you less and less time.
It looks nice, good luck,
Rusty <><
Dwyer Basket quivers are about $65. I have always thought that was a steal.
Nice work, by the way!
