Finally getting around to working on my Dryad glue up. I have completed the initial facet rasping, and the initial shaping of the handle. Take a look at this knot, though, and let me know what you all think. Would you fill this with superglue and ignore it? What do you think? Although you can't really tell from the pics, the knot is actually open. It is about 1/8 inch deep and 1/8 inch wide.
Thanks for the advice!

Bill,
I don't see a pic.
Mike
I dont see it either
For once I see it!! YEAH! LOL
It will most likely be gone by the time you get your final shaping done. I wouldn't worry about it until then.
BTW Mike nice write up in TBM.
Thanks Mickey!!
I haven't seen it. Be a week or two before I see my TBM.

Bill I'd dig out all the punky stuff in the knot. Then I'd mix some sawdust with 2-ton epoxy, and fill the hole. Its so close to the fades that it shouldn't be bending there, so it won't be a factor. But for peace of mind I'd fill it in any case. I've done this on a couple of knots in actual working parts of a bow limb and it worked fine.
Hmmm... I don't know why some can see the pics and others can't. How about just going here:

That's better, I can see em now. Like Mickey and Lennie said. Not going to be in a working part of the limb so it won't be a problem. You can pick and fill if you want or just shoot it full of superglue. Either should do the trick.

Thanks for the help, all.
