What'd you trade this time Roy? And is that zebrawood I see? Hope to see you at NGT in March...
Wow! Those are great lines.
Its a Tanjavur LB, macassar ebony, riser, tips and lams with hickory and walnut core. 55#@29" 60" bow. Just got back inside from shooting it again, its a sweet shooting bow. :readit:
Sorry Killdeer, Greg is the same bowyer that made Roger Norris' new bow too, that he hadn't got to post pics of yet.

Even More Details!!! How would you compare this bow to other bows? I think of the Java Models this one stands out! And your's is a real looker!
I'm pretty sheltered in the bow shooting world. lol I have another bow from Java Man, a short recurve. They are both great bows. Before I got the recurve I was shooting a LB that I thought had no hand-shock, well it didn't compared to what I was shooting before that. :knothead:
So compared to those, these are more better. :biglaugh:
Roy, what I was asking for is what you gave us...specs! Now I wanna see that riser close up~can ya send it over? :bigsmyl:
What a sweet looking bow!
Killdeer
The "MAN" does make some smokin bows!Good luck with that beauty!

Best I can do is send a bigger pic lol.
WOW , that sure is nice , congrats :0)
I've only had the pleasure of shooting one of his all wood composite duos. (many years ago he sent one to pablo) that looks like a nice bow you got there!!!
Nick? 8-)
Now, that's not something you see everyday. Very nice! Thanks for sharing.
How long did you have to wait for it. I just got an email from him today saynig his lead time was about a year.
well... they are worth the wait ;)
It might be longer than a year before you decide to get rid of it, but when you do I want first dibs.
Not at all likely, but I'll keep that in mind :biglaugh:
Gregg is one of those, in the back ground, slightly off the radar, hidden treasure bowyers. He is a very forward thinking bow designer, and really knows how to put woods together for a great look.
On top of that he is my friend.
That's one really nice looking bow. Anymore info would greatly appreciated, website or contact #. Thanks, Richbear.
Ghost Dog, Couldn't said it better myself.
richbear, here ya go www.javamanarchery.com (http://www.javamanarchery.com)
Its all Roy's fault. He picked out the woods.
Thanks Bob. :D

Not entirely all my fault. I had the opportunity to visit Greg and he showed me the different types of wood he had (if that wouldn't make someone order a bow nothing would), and earlier in the year he put the idea in my head of using all of the same wood for a bow.
Dang, I missed this one the first time around. That is one sweet stick. Of course if your the guy I think you are I think Javaman made out on the deal.
Pete,
You got that right! Now get that shop finished. :readit:
Sweet bow!!!! Love the snakey riser!
Ehh...Cinderella never gets to go to the ball...
I have to find people to trade this kind of stuff with. Of course I probably have to find people to talk to first.
Dang it, that is a sweet bow.
AND ITS MINE ALL MINE :readit:
