Hey all, figured I could atleast share pics of the bows I won at SHawn's. The first one is a chekmate recurver 50#@28" and 60" long. Sweet shooter, fast and very quiet.

I used this bow on the second day of the hunt, and drew some bunny blood. Hunterdfk later finished off that rabbit.
I drew first blood with the chekmate yesterday on a bunny.
I won both of these in the raffle Shawn organized for ST JUDES.Being somewhat new to trad, I am extremely grateful. I also wanted to say thanks to everyone who participated...I met so many great people, and had one of the best hunts of my life. Trad has gotten into my blood now...and to all of you involved in that, thanks. It feels like I am home somehow. So, when is the next hunt? Lol.
Thanks again to Shawn, and Curt(for his ticket drawing skills) and to the people at chekmate. Im sure I will be using these bows for many many years to come.
