I have the beman mfx classics 340, per OLs site I cut to my length 29.5 bop, added the 100grn insert and started shooting, I found that to get true spine I had to drop to 100 grn fp to get them to group with fletches, this gives me 546 grns and 190 fps really wanted 150 grn point, I am pulling around 60 lbs, and could shorten up, from back, another quarter inch for spine, and increase point weight, as I have some 65 lb limbs coming I am curious as to your set up with similar specs. Regards
That is about what you are left with
,but also how much can you shorten it.What is your draw length.Once those inserts are glued in you have to trim the back end.But do not trim more then a 1/4" at a time,I don't cut my carbons until I achieve the length with point weight I'm looking for.You never know exactly how a shaft will react to your bow, there is alot of varibles.
