Just got my TBM yesterday & was pleased to see an interview with Byron Ferguson. It was more interesting because he is now registered here & posts in our gang. Good to read a bit more about you Byron. Frank
Cool :) ,my TBM should be here shortly :clapper:
Aw jeez, here we go again...mine will show up in about three weeks.
Killdeer
How depressing, the last issue just showed up on newstands up here last week. Who knows how long till this issue shows up :banghead:
I'm with you. it will now take WEEKS to be able to find it on the stands.. it's worth the wait, but I sure don't understand that long of a delay to be able to buy it.
(file this under "small problems in life"!)
Not only is Byron obviously one of the greatest shots with a LB of all time, every single archery I've talked with who has met him, has nothing but the highest compliments to pay to his character and demeanor...
A true legend and a worthy one...
I didn't know that he posts here on occasion, and I've love for him to post something on his style versus Howard Hill's style...
Oh good, Frank got his yerterday, so I should be getting mine next week. Alan
Great mag this month.........I'll sell mine to the less fortunate. What shall we start the bidding at? :biglaugh:
Another great issue. Why don't some of you guys subscribe? Then you don't need to watch the news stands...Steve
Hey don't complain folks - at least you finally get it. I love that magazine, but they have stopped bringing it into Australia - don't ask me why.
So now I have to put up with our pathetic 'Archery Action' magazine. It is a local monthly Australian rag and about as interesting as watching paint dry. I say - bring on TBM - Sutto
The trouble with subscribing is that they show up even later than on newstands, and costs more. Traditional Bowhunter is the only mag I know with this problem. There used to be a few of us locally that subscribed and we all stopped because we got it sooner and cheaper on newstands than subscribing. The joys of living in the Great White North, I guess ;)
Sutto, is it illegal to bring into Australia or just to expensive to ship? Sorry to hear that. Frank
You will just have to Subscribe Suttoman. Best thing to beet any bad day thats for sure.
al kidner
Yeah, Sutto, subscribe! Actually, don't; I think there're too many bowyer ads for it to be a safe read for you!
:) Ben
Byron and his wife are super people, very entertaining:-)
Got my TBM today!
Hey MB Bushman, I get mine a month before they are even out. I'm not that far from you. Mayby you have a lazy post man...........lol
Ben you cheeky bugger - LOL. Yes I know what I am like - I would probably end up ordering another bow. I promise when my Whip gets here in a couple of weeks or so - this will be the last one!#@%^&*%^*$!! If it is half as good as the things I have read about it - it is going to be one awesome little bow.
Yes I had thought of subscribing guys, but I like to sort of browse a bit in the local Newsagent (until the Chinese lady rushes over to remind me it is not a library!#$%^&*^%!). If I subscribed, then that would take the fun out of it.
No Frank -they are are not illegal here. The only archery tackle or archery product that is illegal in Auss is crossbows - in most states anyway!
