Title: Bandsaw blade width for riser accents?
Post by: razorsharptokill on February 19, 2007, 12:16:00 AM
I noticed the blade I'm using really wanted to wander when I tried my new cutting jig. I assume a wider blade will help reduce this?

What width blade will work best?

It depends on a few factors.  How wide a blade will your band saw run and how wide a blade are you running now?

It is important that your bandsaw is tuned correct, check out this:

Thanks Bue.  Having a good blade guide system helps.  That's where my current system is weak.  Looking for upgrade guide kits currently.
