It looks like it was sold to Nathan Cochran. Does anyone know of him? Is he a bowyer?
I heard that Craig worked with the new owner to transfer the business to Tennessee. I'm not sure if or how soon the shop will reopen. I don't believe the new owner is a bow builder, but I do know that he is currently on tour with his band Mercy Me. As a fellow bass player, I'm inclined to believe that the new owner will do a great job carrying on the Hill name. That said, I don't expect to see any new bows being built any time soon.
Thanks for the response.

Three of us. At least.
It seems to me that with the schedule that Mercy Me has it would be difficult to produce many bows.
Those that met Nathan at this year's Howard Hill Classic had nothing but good things to say about him. I believe his son will be helping out with the business. Time will tell, but for now, I'm remaining optimistic that we will see some good quality bows being built soon.
I hadn't heard of them, and found this online.

Mercy Me is one of my favorite Christian music groups.
Best of luck to the new owners!!!! :clapper:
Awesome, keep the fire burning.

A bass player 'eh. Hopefully the low hummm of a longbow and B50 string will continue on and speak to him. :goldtooth:
Only the very best wishes for the new owner. I'm only sad because HH was a mere 50 miles away from where I live and I loved visiting.
