Well I can't believe I was so fortunate to have got to the Shrew bow stand before the mob![attachment=1,msg3046206]
Got to shoot and try out two different # 52" Shrews and chose the 47@28 for myself. And my 9yr old daughter got to try out a Punky Shrewster..she loved it! So I got em both. Anyhow great show and now on to the new challenge of getting in tune with a new bows..
Good to see.
I'm not going to make it this year because I'm down with the flu. :knothead:
Man that's no fun at all! Hope you get well quick and back to shootin!
Henry put out a teaser video recently about a big announcement at Kzoo. Did he introduce a new model?

Its called the Scout..
Close to re-but no touch limb!
Scout
New design from Bodnik..
Thanks MP! Do you know what lengths the Scout is offered in?
Could you tell us a little more about the Scout, what the diff. is from the others. For those of us who don't/didn't know about it. Thank you.
Well I'd say it falls in between a Recurve and a classic hunter at the tips, don't know what the long bow only shoots would say if you showed up with one..technically the string don't touch the limbs..I only handled a 52" they might have had others..it was bustling around their booth and I was trying out Shrews as quick as I could so I didn't miss out and have to order\wait! Just feel SO lucky to have tried\shot two and my daughter got to shoot and choose one. What a nice show all around, Went to the TCATs area first and it was really fun to see all the vintage bows and equipment.
Sweet!!!
:campfire: :coffee: :archer2: :campfire:
Made the 10 hour trip from Pa. Glad to see TCATS as part of the Expo; More bows than I've ever seen. Hopefully it will be for the entire weekend in the future.
Shick
The one thing that was sad to hear: the EXPO vendors did not want TCATS there with them..I was told by a old time vendor that the bow expo tried to make it hard for them and wouldn't allow them to operate like they wanted..the fear was we would spend all our money on used bow stuff and then go to the expo with our pockets inside out..and moths following... :dunno:
Yes Steven , there were a few bows offered. LOL. This is 1 row
The left hand section.
BowNaFide targets got some good business from me and my guys! Barely had room for us and the targets on the ride back to Indiana! I think it was a great show, lots of friendly folks. My Javaman Elkheart build starts next month and it was really good to meet with Gregg Coffee and nail down the final details.
