Gang,

Does anyone know what the recommended brace height was for a 60" curved bed Bighorn takedown? Thanks so much!

I wonder how anybody ever figured out the first brace ht. On almost all bows if you measure from the back of the sight window from the shelf it will usually be between 7 and 7 1/2" if the bow is noisy twist it up if not than lower it till it gets load then twist up till quite thats a good starting pt .

I can't remember what my old Bighorn was, but I do remember Fred measured them from the deepest part of the grip to the string. I want to say it was around 8 - 8.5", but can't say for sure.

Found my owners manual from my Bighorn bows, 56" 58" bows 6 1/2 to 7 1/4"    60" 62" 6 1/4 - 7 1/4"    64" 6 1/2 - 7 1/4"    66" 6 3/4 - 7 1/4    Longbows 6 1/4 - 7 1/4

Fred's diagram in manual shows the measurment from the rear point of arrow rest to the string, back of arrow rest ( not from the throat of the handle)

I hope this helps
