Folks, it gives me great pleasure to announce that Byron Ferguson will be inducted into the Archery Hall of Fame this coming May, 2024.
I have no doubt that this honor is very well deserved for Byron, if you read his Biography, you'd be in total agreement.
It is also my understanding that Byron Ferguson will be the first Traditional Archer from my state of Alabama, to be Inducted into the Archery Hall of Fame since the late Howard Hill, the World's Greatest Archer. I would say Byron is definitely in good company.
I have already made my reservations at the University Plaza in Springfield, MO to attend his Induction, I WOULDN'T MISS IT!!
People, now is your opportunity to show Byron your support, especially those that have met him, either at one of his outstanding Shooting Exhibitions throughout the country or at the Howard Hill Classic, which he attends every year.
I recommend that you get in touch with Diane Miller, C.E.O. for the AHOF and get your tickets and find out how you can also stay at the University Plaza, but hurry before there's no rooms left. Her number is 814-392-8901.
Let me also add, while visiting with Diane, you may want to join as a supporting member of the Archery Hall of Fame and Museum. If you do, you'll certainly get discounts to this outstanding event.
Speaking of discounts, while visiting the Bass Pro Shop, where the Archery Hall of Fame Museum is located, as a AHOF supporting member, you can get discounts to the Wonders of Wildlife Museum and Aquarium, but only through Diane Miller while at this event. You will be blown away.
In my opinion, you want to bring your family to Springfield, MO. There is so much to see and do besides the outstanding AHOF Induction Ceremony.
And here's a bonus folks, Byron Ferguson will be putting on one of his world famous shooting exhibitions at the 20th anniversary of the Howard Hill Classic, 2024.
Well deserved, by all accounts. I have enjoyed reading his books and watching his videos over the years. Plus he has been a good spokesman for archery as he has entertained royalty and common folk alike with his amazing archery skills.
Way overdue.
I have had the opportunity to just visit with Biron and what an experience that was.
He talked with me for about 45 minutes and it was as if we were friends for many years.

Had an opportunity to watch Byron several times in NC, Pa and Alabama. He shoots great and is a great ambassador for our sport. He is also humble and a true southern gentleman. As Terry said, " Not sure why it took so long?"
While doing one of his many shows around the country, the folks at 40th Annual Virginia Outdoor Sportsman Show took the cover of the current Archery Hall of Fame Newsletter and set this up for Byron Ferguson.

Alright people, for those of you that plan on attending the Archery Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony in May, 2024, AND YOU SHOULD!! The dates are May 17th & 18th, 2024 in Springfield, MO at the Bass Pro Shop, Convention Center.
BUT, on Friday night, as always, is a "Meet and Greet". This is always a lot of fun, you'll get to meet some of the past AHOF Inductees as well as those that will be in attendance to be Inducted.
Now, Diane Miller has done it again. For Friday night's "Meet and Greet", Diane has announced that it will be "Casual Friday", where all you folks that have purchased those sharp Archery Hall of Fame t-shirts, get to wear them.
I know the last AHOF Induction Ceremony was the 50th Anniversary, and it was a tremendous affair, but I truly believe this one will rival the 50th.
Make your reservations, get on the list to get your tickets, NOW!! :clapper:
Here's how, Diane Miller, C.E.O. AHOF, 814-392-8901.
Congratulations to him. I would have thought that this would have happened a long time ago.
